Landscape Elements
The rest of the garden. Patios, pathways, pergolas, fencing and fire pits — the work that turns a water feature into somewhere you actually sit.
Why does a water company build patios?
Because the feature is rarely the whole job. A pond needs somewhere to sit beside it, a path to reach it, and often a screen or a fence to frame it.
Splitting that between two contractors is where projects go wrong: levels do not meet, drainage fights the liner, and nobody owns the seam. Building both means the water and the ground around it are designed together.
What does this cover?
Stone and paver patios, pathways and steps, pergolas and shade structures, fencing and screening, fire pits and seating areas, and the planting that ties them to the water.
Can this be done without a water feature?
It can, though most of this work comes attached to a pond or fountain project. Worth a conversation either way.
Landscape Elements we’ve built
Our background is water treatment.
Before ponds, our work was wastewater treatment, industrial aquaculture and aquariums. All three come down to keeping a closed body of water healthy, and that decides whether a pond is still clear in its third summer. So we plan the filtration, planting and circulation before we dig, and we test the water before we treat it.
“We have done a lot of renovation and landscaping over the years, and Mike is hands down the best we have ever worked with. The end product, a water feature and custom fire pit, are absolutely beautiful and we are proud to show them off.”
